Watch: Ex-Child Bodybuilder Tristyn Lee Tackles Monster 17,000 Calorie Burger!
Tristyn Lee teamed up with Harley Morenstein, the founder of Epic Meal Time, to create a massive 17,000-calorie “Carnivore Big Mac”. The burger consisted of three-pound bison patties, bacon, chicken liver cheese, and bone marrow Big Mac sauce. To tackle the beast of a burger, Lee opted for a fork and knife while Morenstein used both hands.
After devouring the burger both Lee and Morenstein agreed that it was “fire”. The burger is a testament to Lee’s dedication to maintaining his physique and his ability to create something unique and delicious.
Lee joined forces with Harley Morenstein, founder of the YouTube channel Epicmealtime, to cook and consume the massive snack. This burger is packed with bacon, chicken liver cheese, bone marrow Big Mac sauce, and two whopping 3-pound bison patties.
Morenstein decided to eat the burger with his hands, while Lee used a knife and fork for the steak and liver. When Tristyn asked how the outrageous meal tasted, Morestein replied: "Fire."
Lee recently spoke about his "depression" and how he fought to "maintain a certain physique image."
The shredded star became famous when he was just 15 years old because of his amazing body. He attained outstanding results through weightlifting in the gym and eating healthy.
Last year, Lee confessed that he survived on 1,800 calories per day while working out twice and walking 20,000 steps. He explained that his focus shifted to only bodybuilding and how he looked, how lean he was."I started worrying about every tiny detail of my food and diet just to get down to the sub-five percent body fat level."
The influencer, who has more than 2 million followers on Instagram, said he's going to stop calorie counting for the sake of his mental health.
"I haven’t been as focused on counting calories. I’ve been more concerned with how much weight I can lift."I spent such a long time fighting myself to keep up a certain image. But now, looking back, I can't even comprehend why I put myself through all of that, or even remember it.
I didn’t start lifting weights because of social media, and I don’t think social media is why I was in a depression for so long."I've been able to travel the world, meet lots of interesting people, and hopefully inspire some people too.
"I really hope I never lose that excitement and imagination again. Love you all."
As soon as Lee's fans saw the message, they responded to show their support for him in his new journey.
One person said: "You look great, you're pretty strong, and you're healthy. No need to lift heavier, eat lots of food to gain tons of weight! What for?"
Someone else added: "Please don't worry about counting calories! You need more calories (and carbs!) as is it now."
Another said: "Body dysmorphia is a real thing brother. I'm glad to hear you’re doing better now. Much love."
