Big Ramy is getting ready to defend his title as Mr. Olympia at the upcoming 2022 Mr. Olympia event. In a recent Instagram story, Ramy shared a photo of himself looking very intense and focused just four weeks before the event.

The champ showed off his progress from last month during a guest appearance at the Dennis James Classic. He posed for seven weeks in preparation for the 2022 Olympia. He showed off his large frame while posing at James’ third-ever IFBB Pro League Qualifier contest in Germany.

This year, Big Ramy will have some tough competition from other Men’s Open standouts, like Nick Walker, William Bonac, and Hadi Choopan. Recently, renowned bodybuilding coach Hany Rambod gave his thoughts on the upcoming lineup in the Open division. According to Rambod, Ramy will need to be bigger than ever to compete with the size of Hadi Choopan, who has never placed below fourth at the Olympia. ‘Big Ramy’ shows off ‘death face’ in preparations for the 2022 Olympia



On his Instagram account, ‘Big Ramy’ recently posted a story in which he showed off his death face just four weeks away from the upcoming 2022 Mr. Olympia. When cheekbones start to pop out, that usually means a bodybuilder has a low-fat percentage.


Earlier this week, Flex Lewis was given an analysis of the Men’s Open division by coach Milos Sarcev. He argued that the world would love to see Ramy compete against Nick Walker on stage and that he favored the champion to win for the third time in a row. Although there were concerns about Ramy’s lower body muscle development after a recent update showed a ‘hole’ in his right quad, his coach Dennis James pushed back on the idea that the dent came from injections. He suggested it was from a lack of blood supply in the area instead.
