Bodybuilders Hunter Labrada and Nick Walker Share Their Huge Physique Updates Ahead of the 2022 Mr. Olympia

The Men’s Open division is one of the fiercest in the IFBB Pro League. In 2021, Mr. Olympia once again crowned Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay’ as a champion for the second year in a row. However, the contest also saw Nick Walker and Hunter Labrada emerge as legitimate contenders.

Labrada placed fourth at the 2021 Olympia, which was his second time competing in the event. He plans to demonstrate advancements at this year’s Olympia contest through increased size, conditioning, and a more intricate posing routine. Hunter will need to go up against some formidable opponents, such as rising star Nick Walker.

Walker is confident that he will be able to take home the Olympia title later this year after having such a successful 2021 season which included two wins at the New York Pro and the Arnold Classic.

Last week, Walker rejoined his former coach Matt Jansen after the two separated on good terms in February. Many interpreted this reunion as a promising sign for “The Mutant.” With the show less than three months away, Labrada and Walker showed off some of their latest gains.

This year, Labrada has had a very tight schedule. Along with guest posing at different contests, Labrada hasn’t taken a break from training. Earlier this week, the top contender for Men’s Open showed off an intense arm workout that left his arms looking ready to burst out of his sleeves. Hunter’s biceps and chest looked noticeably thicker than before

Samir Bannout, former Mr. Olympia, stated that given the progress he’s made this year, Labrada is a potential wild card at the 2022 Mr. Olympia. He recommended that he ‘not show any weaknesses’ on stage and added that Labrada could distinguish himself from the other participants with his excellent posing skills

Walker doesn’t have a problem with training together with some of his competition. In fact, Labrada and Walker had a brief training session together a few months ago. They were both in agreement that they want to face each other when they’re ‘100 percent.’ Nick also worked out with reigning 212 Olympia champion Derek Lunsford, who was given a special invitation recently to compete in the Men’s Open
